Popular singer Rod Stewart now has a grandaughter after his daughter Kimberly gave birth to her baby girl on Sunday.

The up to now unnamed baby girl came into this world in Los Angeles weighing 8lbs 9oz as is the first grandchild for Rod Stewart, whose wife Penny Lancaster gave birth to his eighth child at the start of this year.

Kimberly reported being pregnant in April and the baby’s daddy is top rated actor Benico del Toro. Though the new parents are not a couple, both pointed out they were eager for the baby’s arrival.
